Data protection laws have significantly expanded in scope over the last two decades. The coming into force of the General Data Protection Regulation ('GDPR') and implementing legislation has further impacted upon both society and how business must not be conducted. We have over 15 years of expertise in data protection law matters, acting for both local and international clients, including well-known global energy, insurance, pharmaceutical and banking groups.
As well as helping clients navigate through their obligations under the GDPR, we also advise individuals in relation to protection and enforcement of their rights. We also assist clients with submitting requisite notices and applications with the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection ('Commissioner') to comply with both local and European laws and regulations.
